Position Overview

The Client is seeking a Car Wash Attendant to support Field Support Services (FSS) by maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of State Police pool vehicles. This position is responsible for routine exterior and interior vehicle cleaning, periodic waxing, and assisting with the preparation of new and re-issued vehicles for service.

Key Responsibilities

• Hand-wash the exterior of all Field Support Services (FSS) pool vehicles on an as-needed basis and at least twice per month.
• Clean and maintain the interior of all FSS pool vehicles at least once per month.
• Hand-wax all FSS pool vehicles on a quarterly basis.
• Wash and remove dirt, grime, and buildup from new or re-issued vehicles that have been sitting on the lot for extended periods.
• Help protect the State of Indiana's investment by maintaining vehicles in clean and presentable condition.
• Assist FSS Installation staff with preparing new and re-issued vehicle commissions for issuance.
• Perform other vehicle-cleaning and maintenance-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age .
• Valid Indiana Driver's License required.
• Ability to work onsite and follow established vehicle-cleaning and safety procedures.
• Ability to perform routine physical tasks associated with vehicle cleaning and maintenance.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work the required schedule.

• Hours: 37.5 hours/week
• Schedule: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with a 1-hour unpaid lunch
• Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
• Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
• Contract End Date: June 30, 2027
• Indiana Driver's License: Required
