The Hazardous Material/Hazardous Waste Technician will be responsible for proper and adequate management and operation of installation HW facilities in accordance with 40 CFR (Parts 260-266, 268, 270, 273, and 279), State of Florida HW Regulations, Pollution Prevention Act, related DoD and AF directives (including AFMAN ), and the installation Hazardous Waste Management Plan

Responsibilities

• Management/accomplishment of waste pickup at Initial Accumulation Point (IAP) and transport to 90 day Hazardous Waste Accumulation Point (HWAP)/Hazardous Waste Storage Facility (HWSF).
• Operation of 90 day Hazardous Waste Accumulation Point (HWAP)/Hazardous Waste Storage Facility (HWSF) and Indsutrial Recycling Processes.
• Provide administration/data entry requirements of the HW module in the EESOH-MIS database, tracking all HW containers from time of generation until they reach the ultimate disposal facility off site.
• Provide management of non-hazardous industrial and special waste, used oil, and off-spec fuel; waste consolidation/lab packing, waste turn-in/preparation for shipment, pick-up of waste for
