We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to support our sales team and drive revenue growth within the industrial and sanitary markets. This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound sales activities, developing customer relationships, and providing technical and product support to clients in industries such as manufacturing, construction, and distribution.

The ideal candidate combines strong communication skills with a solid understanding of industrial products, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and online channels in a timely and professional manner
  • Generate and process quotes, orders, and sales transactions accurately
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Identify sales opportunities and proactively upsell or cross-sell products and services
  • Collaborate with outside sales representatives to support territory growth and customer satisfaction
  • Provide product information, technical guidance, and application support to customers
  • Track and follow up on quotes to convert opportunities into sales
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity in CRM systems
  • Coordinate with operations, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure order fulfillment and delivery
  • Stay informed on product offerings, pricing, and industry trends

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or industrial sales experience
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

  • Experience in industrial products (e.g., MRO, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical components)
  • Technical aptitude and ability to understand product specifications
  • Experience with ERP systems and order processing
