POSITION SUMMARY

A Real Estate Agent / REALTOR® is a trusted real estate professional responsible for representing buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants throughout the real estate transaction process. In addition to providing exceptional client service, this role is expected to contribute positively to the brokerage's culture, reputation, and overall success through professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and ethical conduct.

The ideal agent is self-motivated, dependable, coachable, and committed to continuous growth while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and integrity. This individual understands that their success is closely tied to the success of the brokerage and actively seeks opportunities to add value to both clients and colleagues.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Representation

  • Represent buyers and sellers with honesty, professionalism, and fiduciary responsibility
  • Build and consistently expand a database through exceptional communication and service
  • Provide expert guidance throughout every stage of the buying and selling process
  • Educate clients on current market conditions, pricing strategies, financing, contracts, inspections, and closing procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality while protecting clients' best interests

Business Development

  • Generate new business through networking, referrals, marketing, open houses, community involvement, and lead follow-up
  • Develop and execute a personal business plan to achieve production goals
  • Maintain an active database and consistently nurture client relationships
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and maintain high standards of customer service
  • Build a strong personal brand that reflects positively on the brokerage

Listing Services

  • Conduct listing presentations
  • Perform comparative market analyses (CMAs)
  • Recommend pricing strategies based on market data
  • Coordinate professional photography, staging recommendations, and marketing efforts
  • Monitor listing performance and provide regular updates to sellers
  • Negotiate offers and guide clients through inspections, repairs, appraisals, and closing

Buyer Services

  • Conduct buyer consultations
  • Establish prequal/approvals & budget
  • Assist buyers in identifying suitable properties
  • Schedule and conduct property showings
  • Prepare competitive purchase offers
  • Negotiate contracts and amendments
  • Coordinate inspections, financing deadlines, and closing activities

Transaction Management

  • Learn zipForms platform for document creation and management
  • Prepare accurate contracts and required documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all brokerage policies and applicable laws
  • Monitor deadlines and contractual obligations
  • Communicate regularly with lenders, attorneys, inspectors, appraisers, and closing professionals
  • Maintain complete and organized transaction files
  • Submit all documents for review
