- Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)– Mobile Point of Care Lab
- Location: San Leandro, CA
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Pay: $26.00 – $32.00/hour (Based on experience) + Benefits
- Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
*Important*: Candidates must report to facility location to pick up and return the mobile laboratory van each shift.
Position Summary
We are hiring a California-licensed LVN / LPN to support mobile point-of-care laboratory services in post-acute care settings. This position combines patient specimen collection, waived laboratory testing, documentation, and quality assurance in a fast-paced mobile environment.
-> Responsibilities
- Collect blood specimens via venipuncture and capillary collection
- Perform waived point-of-care laboratory tests
- Enter patient information and test results into the laboratory system
- Monitor quality control and report any testing issues
- Maintain accurate records and specimen integrity
- Support STAT testing turnaround goals
- Assist with supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance
- Drive and operate the mobile lab van as needed
-> Requirements
- Active California LVN license (required)
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Familiarity with laboratory processes and clinical workflow
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
