Join a growing mobile healthcare team as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Point-of-Care Laboratory Technician providing laboratory testing and specimen collection services in a mobile setting. Position Details
- Full-Time | Permanent
- Monday–Friday
- Evening Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Company vehicle provided (pickup/drop-off in San Leandro)
Pay
- $26.00 – $32.00/hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform waived laboratory testing and specimen processing
- Collect blood samples through venipuncture and capillary collection
- Enter patient information and laboratory results into the system
- Perform quality control checks and routine instrument maintenance
- Assist with specimen transport and mobile laboratory operations
- Maintain laboratory supplies and ensure accurate documentation
Requirements
- California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California driver's license with a good driving record
- Laboratory workflow knowledge required
- Previous phlebotomy and laboratory testing experience preferred
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required
Note: This position is not open to Phlebotomists .
