The Property Maintenance Technician will be responsible for servicing residential properties, ensuring the upkeep and safe operation of various systems and facilities. Working within a small team, the technician will perform routine inspections, repairs, and equipment maintenance while coordinating with vendors and responding to limited on-call emergencies. Effective communication with tenants and adherence to safety standards are essential aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and identify maintenance needs at residential properties
• Conduct repair work on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure operational safety and compliance
• Respond to on-call emergencies with timely solutions
• Communicate effectively with tenants regarding maintenance activities and schedules
• Manage inventories of tools, supplies, and materials
• Coordinate regularly with vendors and contractors to secure necessary services
• Support overall facility upkeep to enhance property condition

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in property maintenance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Experience with preventive maintenance practices
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Effective time management abilities
